PRE-BID NOTIFICATION NOTES

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting has been scheduled for Friday, September 20th at 10:30 am at the project site.

The 2nd district Tallahatchie County Courthouse is located at 401 W. Court Street, Sumner, MS 38957.

All bidders are welcome to the meeting to view the building and discuss the project prior to the upcoming bid.

1.03 TO: POTENTIAL BIDDERS
A. Separate bids under seal to Tallahatchie County for the Restoration of the Second District
Tallahatchie County First Floor located at 200 Center Court Square, Sumner, Mississippi before
2:00 pm local standard time on Friday the 27th day of September, 2019, for the following project: Tallahatchie County First Floor Restoration. Bids will be received at the Tallahatchie County Courthouse, Chancery Office, at One Court Square, Charleston, Mississippi.
B. Project Description: Principal items of work include Interior restoration and replication of historic finishes including doorways and plaster, installation of new ADA ramp, mechanical & electrical equipment and other sitework. This project is funded in part through the African American Civil Rights Grant through the Department of the Interior and administered by the National Park Service.
C. Bid Documents for a Stipulated Sum contract may be obtained from the office of Belinda
Stewart Architects, P.A through www.bsaplanroom.com upon receipt of cash in the amount of
$50.00 for one set.
D. Documents may be obtained only by general contract and subcontract Bidders. Others may view the Bid Documents at the office of the Owner and the office of the Architect.
E. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than
(5) five percent of the Bid Amount.
F. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document 00 2113 – Instructions to Bidders and Document 00 3100 – Available Project Information.
G. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided, in duplicate.
H. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission.
I. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
